Historically successful startup entrepreneurs and industry-leading experts.

Will Hunt, CEO, CFO

A proven innovator with a history of disruptive inventions, Will has started several successful companies, including one that acquired global dominance in only a few years before he and his partners sold. He is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO, and serves with the Tie Siding Volunteer Fire Department. Will lives between a ranch in Wyoming and a home in Louisville, Colorado, both of which have experienced near-misses from wildfires.

Jason Diefenthaler, COO

Jason is a results-oriented manufacturing and supply chain transformation leader.  He has led large-scale operations and driven significant efficiency improvements and cost savings. As Vice President of Manufacturing at Weber, he managed three plants with a combined annual COGS of $700M; achieving a 58% increase in production in less than one year and enhancing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). As Vice President of Supply Chain Strategy, he optimized global supply chain operations and strategic sourcing, reducing overhead and variable spend to reduce COGS by 16% YOY.  He has successfully managed international cross-functional teams in North America, Asia and Europe to drive global efficiencies, launch new production capabilities and enter new markets.

Jason resides in the greater Chicago area.

Dr. David Biagioni, CTO

David is an ML/AI researcher with over 10 years of experience in applying machine learning and optimization techniques to real-world building and energy systems. He has a unique blend of experience working in both early-stage startups and government research, having led ML/AI initiatives at organizations like Proofpoint and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). David’s leadership in interdisciplinary research, combined with his experience in developing real-time, data-driven solutions, makes him well-equipped to drive innovations in community resilience and building safety.

George Ressinger, Project Systems Engineer

George is a project and systems engineer with a background in experimental physics, fusion energy, and complex, integrated systems (plasma physics, ultra-high vacuum, high voltage, and wildfire defense systems).

His passion is climate hard-tech and tech-enabled solutions. He has worked on several Colorado-based climate startups, including a nuclear fusion energy company, and a company in the wildfire protection space.

In his spare time, George reads extensively, and as a resident of Boulder, enjoys mountain biking and hiking in the mountains of the Western US.

David La Rosa, Principal Hardware Engineer

A serial inventor, David holds many patents and has invented countless technologies used across the world. As a resident of Queensland, Australia, David is acutely aware of the dangers wildfire (bushfires) present. David is an electrical engineer and an expert with complex systems integration.

Jeff Seaman, Principal Software Engineer

Jeff’s skills in software design and execution are unmatched, with multiple industry-leading applications to his name. He has created programs using state-of-the-art physics modeling simulations, four-dimensional digital twins, and countless other projects. Jeff lives in upstate New York.

Tristan Hunt, CV/AI Specialist

As a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder’s computer science and applied math programs, Tristan has specialized in computer vision and the use of artificial intelligence to interpret and assess images. Tristan resides in Fort Collins, CO.

Justin Curtright, Implementation Specialist

Justin has been a licensed plumber and HVAC specialist for nearly 30 years. He has been a firefighter handling rescue, structures, and wildfire for nearly 20 years. Justin has seen firsthand the damage wildfire poses, and has direct knowledge of the best standards and practices in fireline systems and direct actions to save structures from ember ignition.
