FireWall Nexus™
Wildfires are nothing new, but the frequency, intensity, and risk posed to humans and homes has increased dramatically, thanks in part to the number of structures in the wildland interface, climate change, and beetle kill (fuel loading). Flying embers cause 90% of structure loss in wildfires.
We are the makers of the FireWall Nexus™ (FWN), an advanced fire resource management hub, securely housed in a fireproof vault, designed to maximize resource utilization in a wildfire event. Inside of the vault are critical systems, such as the computer 'brain', fire pump, relay control center, air compressor, and foam injection system. Together with best-practice engineering recommendations and installation assistance, the FWN provides every structure the best possible defense against wildfire.
Leveraging cutting-edge sensors and AI-powered computer vision, the FWN mimics the strategies of a wildland fire crew, intelligently deploying on-site resources to counteract threats from flying embers, whatever resources the home has. With a modern, reliable app, the FWN can protect a home with either automated or manual control, all without the user putting themselves in harm's way.
By optimizing the use of water, foam, and energy reserves, the FWN’s digital twin (under development, see below) ensures effective protection without exposing people or equipment to danger.
